hm....

All I've gotta say is - something called "Simplicity" should be a lot easier to understand! Grrr... still I'm enjoying my sewing project! It's so much fun to know that I've made this stuff and once I'm all done it'll be so much fun to say that I made my Halloween costume and Francis' too ^_^ (I'm making Chi from Chobits for myself and Sumomo from Chobits for Francis if you didn't know!)

Anyways - work is actually really fun this week and I think I'm gonna miss it! Two more weeks... and on my last day we're going fly down to Mansfield for lunch - how cool I'm finally gonna get to fly with Rafat ^_^ Us interns are so excited!!!

On a related note the NASA Vision Research Lab's new website is gonna be up soon - yea! So anyone that cares (which might be one or two people... maybe :-p) can see what I've been doing and what everyone else in my lab works on. It's actually really cool... but I may be biased. If nothing else the summer intern page is pretty awesome!

Okay then - I made chocolate chip cookies tonight - yummy! It's been a full week and more to go - car passed e-check and got registration and all done so that's good. Tomorrow is the student/mentor banquet - I've been nominated for intern of the year and our intern team nominated Rafat for mentor of the year - I hope he wins (I don't hold any delusions about myself - there are so many awesome projects and more experienced interns). Still it was nice to be nominated.
